[00:07.930]Affirmations are thoughts. There are ideas. Stories.
[00:15.260]They are a way of reprogramming your consciousness in order to change your reality
[00:23.900]Because our consciousness is the ultimate ground of our being that creates all our reality
[00:30.950]And how our consciousness is programmed is how our body is programmed
[00:37.452]How our life is programmed
[00:39.837]How our perception is programmed
[00:44.260]All the programming is not a really good word in the ultimate sense because it suggests that everything is on automatic pilot
[00:55.331]I think it's okay to use that word because the programming is done by ourselves to ourself
[01:01.485]It's a wonderful way to change our everyday reality
[01:08.393]When you reprogram your consciousness, you actually reinvent yourself
[01:14.607]So how about reinventing yourself?

[01:18.013]We'll reinvent ourselves through the soul of healing affirmations
[01:22.778]And as we practice these affirmations on a regular daily basis
[01:28.214]They will influence how we think
[01:30.830]They will influence our emotions, how we feel
[01:34.537]They'll influence our perceptions, which is how we experience the world
[01:39.661]They'll influence our personal relationships so they can be more nurturing and loving and compassionate
[01:47.858]Then influence our social interactions—how we interact with society
[01:52.848]They influence our behavior, which will be more conducive to our own personal evolution in the direction of enlightenment
[02:01.532]They influence the environment we find ourselves in
[02:05.075]They influence our biology
[02:07.725]When I say the influence of biology, I mean it very literally
[02:11.922]That means blood pressure
[02:14.812]Things like heart rate, immune function
[02:18.116]Because our body is really, in most people, the battleground for the wars that we wage in our minds
[02:26.041]By changing the conversation that's happening in our minds, you influence the body
[02:31.714]So your body will become the playground instead of the battleground for the wars you wage in your mind
[02:39.195]Your body will become the playground for all the love that you want to create in your life
[02:46.144]So that's a little bit of explanation of how affirmations work
[02:50.308]And to make it easy for you, I've done these affirmations in alphabetical order
[02:56.036]So the first affirmation begins with "A," the second with "B," et cetera, so on
[03:02.534]You can practice one or two affirmations a day if you're in the mood
[03:05.918]You can practice four or five or six if you're really in the mood
[03:09.494]Then you could go from A to Z
[03:12.779]The more frequently you do these affirmations, the more powerful they'll become
[03:17.753]And as I said, they will change your everyday reality
[03:22.076]What we call the forces of nature—they're all an expression of our own consciousness
[03:29.473]We can use the word "consciousness" synonymously with the word "soul"
[03:37.904]Consciousness, spirit, awareness—they're all the same word in a sense
[03:44.524]So that's why we call them the soul of healing affirmations
